The mission of the Skyline Lacrosse Club is to grow the sport of lacrosse and create a championship program for all grade levels. We are off to a great start by winning the 2017 State 4A Championship and achieving the runner up position in 2018.
Lacrosse is a club sport in the state of Washington, meaning it is not an WAII sanctioned sport. This means the club is on its own financially as a separate entity outside of any school affiliation. Because we do follow the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHSBLA) rules which closely align with the WAII, we do have a "loose" affiliation with Skyline High School. This has helped us reduce field costs over the years, one of the largest costs, and has helped us reduce the program fees.
However, it is still a club sport and does not receive some of the official benefits of being a sanctioned sport. Nonetheless, we are embarking on an ASB Club status to become a larger part of the high school community.
